Might not be the biggest back in the stable, but Brown is a strong runner with above-average speed in the 4.4-4.5 range and that alone is enough to grab the attention of college coaches. ? A versatile back that can be plugged into any offensive scheme, Baldwin is headed to Ohio University.
?The last two years he played on a team that posted a losing record and didn?t make the WPIAL playoffs. But Brown still managed to rush for more than 2,200 yards his final two seasons. He?s also an outstanding kicker returner who possesses natural open-field running ability. And that asset might get him on a college field sooner than later. ? Brown can hit an open hole but prefers to search for that opening. At the next level he?ll need to be a more decisive back in terms of hitting the hole with authority on a consistent basis.
